Telemetry Monitoring

The Telemetry Monitoring solution allows businesses to monitor and/or control external devices from the OnlineAVL software.

The intelligent ConEx function is a configurable I/O module which provides the user with 4 Multi I/O pins for digital input, analogue input or digital output.

Examples of Use:

The ConEx function significantly extends the capabilities of the Navman Wireless solution. Examples of devices that can be monitored and controlled by the ConEx function include:

• • Panic Button
• • Power Take off
• • Door open or closed
• • Door locking systems
• • Trailer separation
• • Other on board data collection

Inputs/Outputs

All inputs monitored by the ConEx function are used to generate events in the Online AVL 2. These events are sent through the Qube where they are time, date and position stamped, they are then visible in the vehicle activity log of the vehicle ConEx is activated in. Any of the Multi I/O pins can be configured as an open collector output. These can be used to directly control status indicators, alarms, locks and vehicle auxiliary equipment in conjunction with external relays controlled from base.

Reporting

All ConEx events can be reported on individually, together or displayed as part of the overall vehicle activity report.
